Founded in 1930 by brothers David & Samuel Ferran, the company remains an independant, family run business. Our clients range from BP Oil UK, BP Shipping Ltd, Belfast Harbour Commissioners and the Royal Navy amongst others.
We offer Harbour Towage, Line Handling and Mooring services in the Port of belfast. We have a fleet of five tug/workboats with bollard pulls ranging from 2 to 14.8 tonnes available to carry out towage and mooring work, offering a 365 days a year, 24 hours a day manned service.
Our sister company Ferran Port Services Ltd. are responsible for the day-to-day operation, manning and maintenance of the three pilot boats forming the pilotage fleet for the port of Belfast.
