David Ferran and Sons is registered with the British Standards Institute (BSI), ensuring that our company meets all the relevant guidelines and standards required to fulfil BS EN ISO 9001 2000.

Our Health and Safety Management System was established in 1995. It is respected and operated by our employees who take an active part in procedures, such as hazard detection and risk assessment.

We employ Penninsula Business Services Ltd to provide us with advice on health, safety and welfare issues. Annual inspections of our Safety Management Systems are also undertaken by Penninsula.

Inspections are carried out by B.P.Oil U.K Ltd and also by Belfast Harbour Commission through B.M.T Reliability Consultants Limited.

In January 2004, the Ferran Group received Peninsula`s gold award for excellence and outstanding commitment to workplace health, safety and welfare.
